Adopting a quantitative design, primary data were gathered via structured questionnaires administered to consumers who had watched Skintific's live streams and subsequently purchased products through TikTok Shop. Given an infinite target population, the sample size was calculated using the Lemeshow formula, yielding 190 qualified participants selected through purposive sampling based on predetermined criteria. Data analysis was executed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0 software. Findings show that information quality and streamer credibility significantly boost consumer trust, whereas interactivity does not. Furthermore, information quality, interactivity, and consumer trust directly enhance purchase decisions, while streamer credibility lacks a direct effect. Consumer trust successfully mediates the impacts of information quality and streamer credibility on purchase decisions, but fails to mediate interactivity. Ultimately, live-commerce brands should focus on accurate product information, credible hosts, and trust-building to drive sales.
Ibnu Nafi’ Ahmad, Ida Aju Brahma Ratih, Siti Mujanah Copyright (c) 2026 Asia Pacific Journal of Business Economics and Technology https://apjbet.com/index.php/apjbet/article/view/351 Wed, 07 Oct 2026 12:17:06 +0000 Effectiveness Of Risk Management-Based Budget Management In The Bolaang Mongondow Regency Government https://apjbet.com/index.php/apjbet/article/view/352
This study analyzes the effectiveness of risk management-based Regional Budget (APBD) management in the Bolaang Mongondow Regency Government. The study addresses a SIPD paradox: despite four consecutive Unqualified Opinions (WTP) and full implementation of the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) since 2022, the region recorded a relatively high budget surplus (SILPA) of 8.34%, budget absorption in strategic regional agencies of 61–84%, achievement of RPJMD indicators of only 71.22%, and recurring internal oversight findings. A descriptive qualitative case-study approach was employed using the COSO Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) 2017 and ISO 31000:2018 frameworks. Five key informants were selected from budget management and internal oversight functions. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and document review, and credibility was strengthened through source and technique triangulation. The findings show that five of eight COSO ERM components—control environment, objective setting, risk identification, risk response, and control activities—were effective, while risk assessment, information and communication, and monitoring were not yet effective. SIPD was effective as a preventive control but remained limited as a detective control for substantive waste. The main contribution is the identification of a SIPD paradox in which formal compliance and digital control do not automatically ensure substantive value for money when risk assessment remains manual and fragmented.
Sofiah Y. The research was conducted within the Regional Government of Bolaang Mongondow Regency. Using an explanatory quantitative survey design, data was gathered from 153 respondents consisting of Financial Management Officials (PPK), Expenditure Treasurers, and Technical Activity Implementation Officials (PPTK) selected via proportionate stratified random sampling. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4. The empirical results show that organizational commitment has a positive but statistically non-significant effect on regional financial accountability (β = 0.084, p = 0.372). Conversely, financial knowledge exerts a strong, positive, and significant direct effect on financial accountability (β = 0.407, p < 0.001). Furthermore, moderation testing reveals that knowledge does not significantly moderate the relationship between financial management commitment and financial accountability (β = -0.155, p = 0.096). These findings indicate that psychological commitment alone is insufficient to drive accountability; rather, direct technical and regulatory knowledge serves as the primary driver in public sector financial management.
Mariani Rumuat, Arifin, Wiwin L.Husin, Darnawati Copyright (c) 2026 Asia Pacific Journal of Business Economics and Technology https://apjbet.com/index.php/apjbet/article/view/353 Tue, 20 Oct 2026 04:58:28 +0000 Navigating The Food-Water-Land Nexus: A Systematic Review of System Dynamics Applications and Future Directions https://apjbet.com/index.php/apjbet/article/view/354
The food–water–land nexus presents complex challenges for sustainable resource management due to interconnected resource demands and environmental pressures. Although system dynamics has been widely applied to examine resource interactions, existing studies remain limited in integrating spatial heterogeneity, stakeholder behavior, and socioeconomic drivers. This systematic literature review aims to evaluate methodological approaches, policy applications, and research gaps in system dynamics modeling of the food–water–land nexus. Following the PRISMA framework, 79 documents published between 2016 and 2026 were initially identified through Scopus. After screening, 61 articles were retained, with 22 studies examined through focused thematic synthesis. The findings reveal four prominent methodological approaches: participatory modeling, hybrid integration with geographic information systems, modular modeling architectures, and probabilistic simulations. These approaches facilitate the identification of nonlinear feedbacks, resource trade-offs, and long-term policy implications. However, limited longitudinal data, insufficient spatial resolution, and inadequate representation of stakeholder behavior constrain model reliability. This review contributes a structured synthesis of methodological developments and identifies priority directions for integrating multiscale, spatially explicit, and behaviorally informed models to support adaptive and sustainable resource governance.
Marleni Limonu, Sutianto Pratama Suherman, Dandi Hasan, Suparmin Fathan Copyright (c) 2026 Asia Pacific Journal of Business Economics and Technology https://apjbet.com/index.php/apjbet/article/view/354 Thu, 22 Oct 2026 13:54:32 +0000
